Troubleshooting Issues with ctcLink
Account Activation Prerequisites
- Before accessing ctcLink, ensure your account is activated.
- Follow this link to activate the account: Activate your ctcLink Account.
Troubleshoot Activation
- Phone Number Format
- Ensure your phone number is numeric-only (no symbols or spaces), including the area code (exclude country code).
- Error Resolution
- If encountering errors during password setup, verify that the password excludes personal details such as names or dates of birth.
- Ensure that the password meets the minimum requirements listed on the screen.
Troubleshoot Login
- Is the correct page being used to log in?
- ctcLink is accessed through single-sign-on for most students. To access this function, simply log into my.spcc.edu with your ClipperID (SPSCC email address) and then select "ctcLink" from the Quick Links list
- For most faculty, please ensure the correct login link is selected: ctcLink Login Page
- Is the ctcLinkID number being utilized as the user name?
- This is a number and not an email address (person@spscc.edu).
- If you have forgotten your ctcLink ID, follow these instructions to Recover your ctcLink ID.
- Is the correct password for ctcLink being entered?
- The password for ctcLink was chosen when the account was activated, and is different than the one used to log into your email or computers on campus.

- ctcLink can experience issues depending on the internet browser used.
- Please try an alternate browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge).
- Are ctcLink windows not "popping up" in the browser?
- Some ctcLink issues can be resolved by clearing the Browser cache and cookies.
