Restrict Sharing My Directory Information

FERPA protects your educational records but doesn't include "Directory Information". If you do not wish for SPSCC to release your Directory Information, you can update your preferences in ctcLink. 

Note: Directory Information includes: name, address, email address, telephone listing, date and place of birth, major field of study, extracurricular activities, dates of attendance, degrees, awards, most recent institution attended, veteran status, and for athletic team members, height and weight.

Overview of Steps:

ctcLink Login > Student Homepage > Profile > Privacy Restrictions> Restrict All Data > Check "Restricted" Box > Save

Steps with Screen Shots:

  1. Login to ctcLink.
  2. Go to "Student Homepage" and select the "Profile" tile.

    3. Go to "Privacy Restrictions" and select "Restrict All Data".

    4. Check "Restricted" box and then "Save".

    5. You should see a check under "Restricted".
